About the project

Phistlebrook View is a glamping site developed on a rural country estate in our home county Herefordshire. Set on a farm on the Welsh borders near the iconic Black Mountains, Phistlebrook View is nestled into the southwest facing edge of a woodland on Kentchurch Estate overlooking an incredible view.

All the timber to build the hut, yurt, and deck was milled by ourselves at our workshops from timber harvested in the nearby woodlands. The hut is fully equipped with a luxury bathroom and kitchen and equipped with solar power electrics and gas-powered combi boilers ensuring many long hot baths.

The yurt is fitted out with a double bed, sofa bed, log burner, and a dining table and chairs. It has full coconut matt flooring dressed with sheepskin rugs from a local producer. This site is really the pinnacle of a homegrown building for us and we are very proud of it as one of our first projects.
